Rebecca's first week...

We have had the most amazing first week with Rebecca and being the parents of two little ones. Rebecca is such a great little girl and has been an easy baby so far. She wakes up just twice a night to eat and pretty much sleeps all the time right now. When she is awake, she just looks around and blinks those big eyes. She does not like to have her clothes or diaper changed, and does not like to wait to eat! She does however love to be held and is a great (and very warm) snuggler! She has been very good to me as I recover from her delivery and get use to having a newborn again. Here are some pictures of our Amazing Rebecca Grace... we love you little girl!

Introducing Rebecca Grace Scott!!!

These are some pictures from Rebecca's first day here with us! She was born October 26th at 12:36pm and was 9 pounds 7 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long. She is just as healthy as she can be and we are so happy that she is here! I am totally in love already and Thomas has done really great with the new addition in the house. Please enjoy these pics of Rebecca's first day with us and there will be plenty more to come.... Oh, and check out the hair on this little girl!

Last Pregnancy Picture

Ok, so I know you are all shocked that I am posting a picture of me pregnant, but I could only appreciate this now that I am not anymore... hee hee! I really didn't even want anyone to see me pregnant much less document it in a picture! So, these are 2 of probably less than 10 pregnant pictures that exist of me from both pregnancies! The only reason that these exist is because my mom has a picture of her pregnant with me at this point in her pregnancy and she insisted that she get one of me too. Of course, she looks nothing like this pregnant! So, since this will be my last pregnancy and it was about a week before I had Rebecca, I will document it! I have often said that I am the worst pregnant girl around, but I do love being a mommy!

A little more from the fair...

I forgot that we actually did do more than just the Choo-Train at the fair! The last time that we went (a day and a half before Rebecca arrived) we did actually ride something else. Well, when I say we, I do mean Thomas and Bobby rode... Ha! Based on all the looks that I got, don't think anyone wanted me to get on a ride!

More Tricycle Pics

South Carolina State Fair 2009

Well, we just did make this year's State Fair before Miss Rebecca Grace got here! We ended up going 4 times and the reason that all of the pictures are from one ride is because that is all Thomas wanted to do. We had hardly been there 5 minutes the first time, and he spied the "Choo Train" and locked into it! I don't know just how many time he ended up riding that thing during all of our trips, but Thomas had the most fun and that was our goal. He also ate his weight in Fiske French Fries, but that is a whole different story!

Doesn't he look so happy?
This is a snipit of our conversation we would have before we left for the fair...
Me: "Thomas, would you like to go back to the fair today?"
Thomas: "YEAH!!!"
Me: "What would you like to do at the fair?"
Thomas: "Choo-Train"
Me: "How many times do you want to ride the Choo Train?"
Thomas: "SIVE!!!" (Five)
He is so adorable!
Here are a couple of videos:

Happy Fall Ya'll

We took Thomas to the Pumpkin Patch in Lexington a couple weeks ago, and really had a nice time. His favorite activity was riding the "Truck-tee"... also known as Tractor! We didn't get to stay for very long because it started raining, but it was nice to be outside for a little while with Thomas and watch him run and play...

My Big Boy!

So now Thomas is a tricycle riding big boy! We are so proud- and so is he!

Last Summer Zoo Trip

We enjoyed what will likely be our last warm trip to the zoo for a while a couple weeks ago, and we all had so much fun.

There is no sound to this video as I was in another exhibit filming through a window, but I thought it was the cutest thing! Thomas wanted the bird on his arm so bad, but he wouldn't stay still long enough. Bobby said that he kept trying to grab the bird to put it on his arm and the bird kept pecking him. Evidently, they don't want to be grabbed by a 2 year old... ha ha!

My little present...

My mom kept Thomas one morning recently and in trying to "help" Nanny wrap a present, this is how I found him in his great-grandma's bedroom! He was proud as punch of what he had done and loved telling me the colors of the bows and counting how many he could stick to himself! Only at grandma's house, huh?

Sleeping Baby

He seems like such a big boy these days until after we say our night-night prayers and he drifts off to sleep.... and then he is my little baby again for a little while. Here he is snuggled up with his elephant that his cousin, Katie, gave him....

Aiden's Birthday Party

We just celebrated Thomas cousin, Aiden's, second birthday with a John Deere party at their house. Thomas loved Aiden's new trampoline, and our plans are for Thomas to get one of his own very soon!

Newest Boo-Boo

My poor little guy can't go a week without a boo-boo on those sweet little knees... here is the latest...

Frankie's Fun Park

Bobby and I decided to take a chance and take Thomas to Frankie's Fun Park, and that was a REALLY fun evening! Because Thomas is the size of a 4-year old, he was able to ride/play just about everything, and he really had a ball!

He loved his first attempt at bowling- he even took a few of Daddy's turns.... oops!

He and Daddy enjoyed trying to squirt me with water while riding the bumper boats!

His favorite by far was driving the cars with his Daddy!

He looked like such a big boy in the passenger seat! I can't even believe we have had him for almost 2 1/2 years!
Here are a some videos from our evening:

These bowling videos are not the best because it was hard to catch everything going on, but I love how excited he gets when he is throwing the ball! So cute!
