Time for Strawberry Picking!

April and May mark strawberry picking time here in Lexington, and it is a yummy time for everyone! We had a great time with Thomas there this year and he loved it too! I don't think he even put one strawberry in his busket- they all ended up in his mouth!

This is my absolute favorite picture- he could barely close his mouth it was so full of strawberries!

Surgery...

My sweet little buddy had to have tubes put in his ears, a scope in his nose and throat, and his adenoids taken out about 2 weeks after his birthday. He did so great and we felt really good about his doctor, but it was still a stressful day that we are glad to be done with!

To pass the time in the waiting area, we played trucks!
Can you tell we had to wake him up REALLY early? He did much better with being woken up early than he did with his ID band on his arm. I bet he asked us 17 dozen time to take it off!
A little one should not have to be in a hospital gown, but isn't he adorable???
I should have a picture from the back... the opening was in the back and his little diaper was poking out the back when he walked!
He was really high from all the medication in this picture! Nanny came over to give me a break and to spend some time with Thomas! They gave us Tylenol with Codeine and told me to let him sleep all day, but would you believe he only slept 45 minutes all day???

Worshipful Wednesday

Bobby and I went to a Tim McGraw and Faith Hill concert a few years ago and had the priviledge of seeing this performance in person! Even though it isn't your traditional "worship" song, it is so true! I hope you enjoy it too!

Rainbows...

According to Scripture, rainbows are God's promise to mankind that there will never again be a world-wide flood such as there was in the days of Noah.

Genesis 9

12 God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; 13 I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 “It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud, 15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 “When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

My boy is driving already!

My crazy Dad has decided that Thomas should start driving his Rhino around their property... ha! This video was taken about 2 weeks after he turned 2, and neither of them could be more proud! Check out this video...

New Dump Truck...

Sorry these pictures are so delayed, Aunt Kris! Thanks to her, Uncle Chris, and Katie, Thomas has a new dump truck! This boy loves anything with wheels and this truck has been no exception! He rides in the bucket, lifts the bucket up and rides in between the cab and bucket, but mostly he just likes to sail through the house pushing it and torturing his furry brother! Thanks to his favorite Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin for the new toy... see you all very soon!

Sleeping...

I catch Thomas in the craziest sleeping positions when I check in on him before I go to bed at night!

This crazy guy has a long crib and more nights than not, I come in and find him sleeping short-ways in the crib! I just had to share...
